I’m good with that, except I would like a public trial before handing them over to the Syrian government - both as a matter of principle (rule of law) and as an educational opportunity for the general public. Not that most of the brain befuddled masses could pay attention long enough to learn anything. And come to think of it, I guess we’re pretty much past the rule of law these days too, so yeah, let’s go with your idea.
Yeah, I figure we’re at a point where the rule of law only applies when it’s convenient for the elites so, it doesn’t really apply anymore. We can get back to it after this existential war is over. To some extent, Trump’s election was a result of real Americans giving up on the political system. Hillary’s non prosecution proved that the judicial system is dead. What do we have left? The scotus’ gay marriage and Obama care decisions show that the US Constitution is dead.
