House Freedom Caucus chairman Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) is joining with President Donald J. Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in pushing for Congress to send a clean repeal of Obamacare to President Trumps desk now, and work on the replacement later.
Meadows, who is making the call in an exclusive statement to Breitbart News, joins them as both Trump and McConnell called for clean repeal of Obamacare to go to Trump now and a replacement later after the Senate health bill failed late Monday. This was the way to go from DAY ONE.
This was the way to go from DAY ONE.
You all must come to the conclusion that the American people have but one friend in Washington, Dc....POTUS, Donald J. Trump!!! Both the Democrats and the vermin Republican establishment are screwing you and, the American nation every single day!!! McConnell & Ryan must be thrown out by the Republican caucus, like right now!!!
For goodness sake, Pubbies, grow a spine and throw there two traitors, McConnell & Ryan to the wolves!!!
They aren’t going to do that either.
Useless party can’t do shit other than lie.
True.
Everyone knows that if they do it this way, step two will never happen. It’s why the #uniparty will never let step one happen.
It's killing the hospitals that have to deal with them in large numbers - perhaps that's why they charge you and me $20.00 for an Advil for example, when we're in there and have proper insurance.
SALUTE
The question is do the citizens want everyone to have insurance or decent healthcare. Looks like most libs think if they have insurance, they will get decent healthcare. Cretins, Idiots, Fools and Lunatics...all of them.
Why?
You are probably unwittingly sarcastic.
Trump hasn’t lifted a finger to get Obamacare repealed. He hasn’t done any speeches telling us why it would be good to repeal it. He hasn’t explained how the short-term pain to some would be made up by fixes later.
In fact, half the time he’s advocating the OPPOSITE of the solution, pushing to make things “less mean”, pushing for the same regulations that already exist, telling us we have to cover pre-existing conditions.
Trump may be a “fighter”, but he isn’t fighting for this, and I’m convinced that WHATEVER ends up passed, he will have a signing ceremony, call it “the end of Obamacare”, and take credit for it. Even if in the end the bill is “bipartisan” and has 45 democratic senators and 15 republican senators, and does nothing more than expand Obamacare.
If Trump is a fighter, it is time for him to get out and actually FIGHT for something.
They couldn't get a majority before. What makes you think they can get 50 votes going forward?
I don't want Congress going back to the table to craft a replacement bill. I want the federal government out of health care, completely.
Soros owns Ryan, McConnell and most of these corrupt politicians.Thats why they dont want obamacare repealed.
No one owns Trump.
I think he wants it to collapse. He has said they OUGHT to let it collapse. He’s giving the congress a chance so he can point the finger at them. Sounds now, though, like he and the turtle have a play on. If they pull off repeal, it will be ‘uge.
That would be the James Madison version of a "clean" repeal bill.
I’m skeptical. The Democrats and the Media (but I repeat myself) will portray a full repeal as “throwing 25,000 people off their healthcare plan and resulting in 15,000 near-term deaths.” Then the spineless GOP-e types will lose their nerve and hide under rocks. It really is checkmate and the establishment/Democrats know it.
You and I and every reasonable person knows this. Nothing would be fine, which is why a law-making factory (congress) can't let it happen.
If ANYTHING needed to be done, it should be a freeing of the free market to do its job more efficiently - a relaxing of current laws.
Their constituencies will again be without insurance after the two year period.
