There obviously must have been a written message communicated to the committee chairman from the Rice camp as to why she wasn't going to appear.
Was there one? If so, what did it say?

The school elaborates: "During her residency at A/U, Rice will work primarily on her next book and mentor SIS students on careers in national security."
A/U/SIS defines Susan Rice's position with Obama thusly: ”She provided the President with daily national security briefings and was ‘responsible for’ coordinating the formulation and implementation of ‘all aspects’ of the Administration’s foreign and national security policy, intelligence, and military efforts.

Speculation, on FoxBiz, last night...was that she is lawyering up. Someone’s gonna take the fall, for the unmasking, and it won’t be 0blamie.
This was never going to go anywhere. The proper course is for DOJ/FBI to investigate this - with a grand jury - or to task the independent counsel to investigate. I mean Let's face it - we are talking about Democ🐀s. When are they EVER held responsible for crimes? Aren't they running the Congress right now? ... running everything?
