Is Texas safe for my California kid?

NO!! Absolutely not. Keep your sick minded government worshipping smug condescending self and your spawn in Kalifornistan where the people around you share your delusions. Texas allows some reality to enter its culture, and you and probably your get will likely not survive exposure to reality and retreat into a catatonic state.

Depends. If she is attending UT and living in Travis County, she may not even notice a difference from life in CA.
