I agree. I can’t imagine China wanting to risk trade deals with the US in favor of playing nice with a nuclear armed psychopath at their front door.

Keeping the Kim family in charge in North Korea keeps Korean reunification at bay - which is a very high Chinese priority. The Kim's would be gone tonight and another ruling junta in place in the morning if China wanted it that way.
The half of the NK military officers that are not on China's payroll are lined up waiting to asked.
