If Trump runs in four years, would Bloomstine vote for him? As long as he continues to be himself, absolutely.
Last year was the first presidential election in which Generation Z voted, according to Brauer, yet there was virtually no attention paid to this demographic.
In fact, in almost every case, its members were simply lumped in with their significantly different counterparts, the millennials, in the 18-to-29 age group.
This was disingenuous and unfortunate and didnt give the true picture of the election, said Brauer. Looking at the data, there was virtually no attempt to separate these two very different generations of voters.
Brauer explains that, from 2012 to 2016, Democratic candidates lost 5 percent of the youth vote nationally (down from 60 percent to 55 percent). In Florida, Democrats margin of victory among the young dropped 16 percentage points. In both Ohio and Pennsylvania, the drop was 19 points. In Wisconsin, 20 points.
It is unlikely that such significant drops were simply due to the more liberal millennial generation changing their minds from one election to the next, said Brauer.
It is much more likely the precipitous drops were due to the more conservative Generation Z being able, for the first time, to express their political inclinations, especially in the economically hard-hit swing states.
Therefore, Generation Z possibly had a major, yet completely overlooked, impact in this historic election. Generation Z voters were likely attracted to Trump because of his strong stances on national security and economic recovery the main concerns of that generation, said Brauer.
This generation is different, and they are about to have a profound impact on commerce, politics and trends, Brauer concludes. If politicians and business leaders arent paying attention yet, they better, because they are about to change the world.

Generation Z was witness to “Gamergate”, is aware of MGTOW and “The Red Pill” theory. Watches alternative news and discussion sources like Stephen Crowder and Stefan Molyneaux. They also grew up on the internet and aren’t fooled by Share Blue troll types.
Al Gore is going to rue the day he invented the internet.
There is a Nationalist, Populist, Skeptic, Alt-Right Movements rising in America, not Republican.
Republican versus Democrat.
I don’t care.
The Uniparty of Ryan and McConnell and those who support their leadership replicated at state and local level time and time again.
The pretend to support Trump or openly take potshots at him like Ryan did over Trump’s criticism of the MSNBC hosts last week.
I voted for Trump and I voted for a few candidates with R’s next to their names in recent elections.
Frankly, I wrote in names other than R candidates and in some races didn’t vote at all.
I don’t think those people want to be GOPe’d on by business as usual politicians.......
bkmk
RE: #3
Agreed totally
In my area the “generation after millennials” is primarily Hispanic, with family members engaged in siphoning off the system in various ways. These people will never vote Republican; here in NJ they expect somebody else to pay for everything.
I was thrilled to see these types on the news over the past couple of days being turned away at various state parks; they think we Americans must continue providing all these goodies for them even when Americans barely use them.
Millenials are doomed to become a generation of dysfunctional hippies marooned on a demographic island.
Gamergate is huge. Anyone who does not recognize the term has NO IDEA what a culture war landmark it is for young people. Every one of the factors you mention is valid, but Gamergate is the Scylla and Charybdis of that generation, and its effects are still active. The rash of Sanders inspired Socialist memes aren’t going to change that, kek.
Top Kek back.
Is this like the ‘natural conservatives’ invading from Mexico I was force fed during the Bush years.
LOL. (Doubt most non-millennials and/or Gen Zers know what KEK means.)
I confess I have no idea what Gamergate is.
Please enlighten me.
Wikipedia’s coverage doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of how big the scandal was. I’m a childless Gen X’er and the ripples of anger even spilled into my world. “Gamergate” was the H Bomb of scandals that nobody that reads mainstream media knows anything about.
It is a long, stupid story. This youtube link does a decent job of going over. The drama between the individuals that sparked it is not important to anyone but them. What makes Gamergate significant is that it eventually turned into the red line beyond which even default lefty young people hit their limit with the SJW commissariat, and told them to bug off.
In the culture war, in that age group, it was a Battle of Midway moment. It may seem trivial to most of us on this website, but it was a serious moment in the culture war for Millenials and Generation Z. It was a cold hard rejection of dictated PC.
