The NEA and AFT leadership from the very first days of their formation have been practicing a soft genocide with regard to America's black population. Until 1965, my HS graduation year in DC, Biden’s clean and articulate could be applied almost across the black school population. (and not surprisingly that was the about the time of the Berkley Free Speech Movement)..Any real thugs were shipped to reform schools, those on the bubble were transferred to vocational high schools for the opportunity to learn useful trades. Some of the strictest and best English teachers were black having achieved their educations in the forties and fifties through excellence, tough times for them.

Standard English, oral and written was the benchmark for all students. Sure, dialect came out in after school pick up sports but in class resulted in detention at best or a trip to the principal’s office.

It was a deliberate effort at distruction clothed in false concern and compassion. And we see the results today. Would be enlightening to compare prison demographics of pre-1965 and subsequent years. The results I suspect would be startling.

I disagree; the NEA and AFT leadership are the primary reasons many blacks are breeding at all. The “cash-for-kids” programs are pushed by the teachers’ unions political arm (the Democratic Party) to ensure “clients” for teachers. If they produce welfare bastards to fill schools, they are rewarded with a life of leisure. Of course, the teachers could care less what happens to the children afterwards. Now the teachers are determined to fill the schools with Hispanic kids instead, for the same reason; they are deliberately darkening, not ethnically cleansing, this country.

Same year for me.

I took pride in my HS diploma. Both my folks were smart and succeeded with just their HS diploma. Then my younger, retarded sister was passed through 4 years of high school, "earning" a degree from the same high school. She can not write a complete sentence. She can not complete simple arithmetic, but there is no asterisk or other qualification on her diploma. Mine means nothing now. as it proves or establishes nothing except maybe marginal attendance.
