“You’ve turned against everything you used to love: immigrants, trade, international alliances, voting rights, women’s rights, science, national parks, and treating people with respect.”

Joe, you are a damn liar. Your article loses all credibility with the above quote. You are either a liar or a moron. I guess you could be both.

As it should be. I’m a big 10th amendment fan and put states first over the feds in all but a few areas (i.e. military). I’ll gladly join in moving about 90% of what the feds do and regulate back to state control (along with 90% decrease in federal taxes).

I realize many people in both my state and California will need to move but in the end we’ll all be much happier with more local control of our lives (unless you run out of other people’s money and can’t implement all your dreams)

Speak for yourself, moonbat. There are still millions of Californians who are proud to be a part of the USA.

OK, Kalifornia - the rest of us will remember that when your miserable Marxist atheist state gets knocked on its ass by a massive seismic event. We’ll tell you to fend for yourselves. We’re done giving you commie clowns our assistance. When the good Earth rocks, rolls, heaves, and razes your cities to the ground ... When the Pacific Ocean swallows half your population, don’t bother requesting our help - we’ll happily ignore you.

South Carolina said something similar about 150 years ago.

Everyone is entitled to a mid-life crisis. But you are having an especially nasty meltdown. You’ve turned against everything you used to love: immigrants, trade, international alliances, voting rights, women’s rights, science, national parks, and treating people with respect

Create a straw man, then beat it to death.

Americans still respect voting rights, but not for non citizens.

Americans still welcome immigrants, but not those that sneak into our country, don’t bother to learn our language, commit crimes and expect welfare for just being here.

Americans respect woman’s rights but we don’t believe killing babies is a person’s “right”, it is murder. Deal with it.

Americans understand science then those that believe in made man climate change. We know and understand earth’s climate changes, it has in the past and it will again in the future. Nothing man can do will have much of an impact.

American’s enjoy National Parks but do not believe the government should just arbitrarily declare lands parks just for political reasons.

American’s respect other people much better those on the left who are the most intolerant people in this nation.

If it was possible to divide California down the middle, I would say go way and become your own country, good riddance.

Someone should point out to this asshat that had not the US purchased Alaska from the Ruskies and thereby cut them off from the west coast, his state would be reporting to Putin today. I bet they would not have anywhere near the “flexibility” to do what they want with Vlad, or his predecessors in the Kremlin.

After an extended period of navel gazing, the author has reached the amazing conclusion that he’d be a lot happier if everyone in the country just did what he told them to do.

There is discussion about having CA and IL not send in the federal taxes collected in the state.

Not sure how that works, but they think they can balance the budget that way.

I remember the California that voted for Reagan twice and Deukmeijian (sp?) after. Even the fictional California of Perry Mason had its rough edges but wasn’t keen on indecency, perversion, baby-murder and illegal aliens.

Members of the Socialist Democrat Party.
The Clinton’s *SPIT*

Abortionists
Any that have turned away from G-d

Need I go on?

In that case, California can pay for all of its own stuff, plus their share of the federal debt.
