While I hate that pinko bitch, I don’t see streaming of a colonoscopy as something “bad” so long as its scientific and informative. So many people fear such a simple procedure ... the thought of a camera being driven through your insides can make one quite uncomfortable ... however, the procedure is painless and can mean the difference between nipping off a polyp when you’re a bit younger (in your 40s, unless you have family history ... you want one when you’re a bit younger) or fighting full blown colon cancer in your 50s or 60s.
I have to say that what Couric did was something beneficial to those that saw it, but totally get your point overall.
