WATCH| Secret memos show Trump adviser roiled bureau by intervening in agent’s discrimination case before he was targeted in Russia case.
The FBI launched a criminal probe against former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn two years after the retired Army general roiled the bureau’s leadership by intervening on behalf of a decorated counterterrorism agent who accused now-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe and other top officials of sexual discrimination, according to documents and interviews.
Flynn’s intervention on behalf of Supervisory Special Agent Robyn Gritz was highly unusual, and included a letter in 2014 on his official Pentagon stationary, a public interview in 2015 supporting Gritz’s case and an offer to testify on her behalf. His offer put him as a hostile witness in a case against McCabe, who was soaring through the bureau’s leadership ranks.
The FBI sought to block Flynn’s support for the agent, asking a federal administrative law judge in May 2014 to keep Flynn and others from becoming a witness in her Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) case, memos obtained by Circa show. Flynn seems to have been taken down for no good reason since this whole Russia probe is nothing but “bullsh#t” according to a CNN producer.

There is far more corruption than can be exposed in one administration. It would take decades to truly drain the swamp, and our next president will be a swamp monster with a mission to refill the swamp.
I give glory to God for the miracle we have in President Trump — for delaying the inevitable and setting the commie left back years. But I am realistic that the swamp will inevitably win. Joe Wilson, former husband of a French intel agent who worked for corrupt African leader Omar Bongo ...Joe was later also husband of Valerie Plame the pregnant CIA sooperdooperdeepcover spy (who assured us all those high tolerance aluminum tubes Iraq ordered were for rockets not centrifuges)... whose case was taken up by the Chicago FBI’s Fitzgerald, godfather of the FBI’s leaking James Comey, in a partisan effort to try to take down Dick Cheney for what turned out to be a leak by Colin Powell aide Armitage, a case which ended with Scooter Libby as collateral damage. Same VIPS bunch who were tied up with the CIA chick Mary Mcsomething who was on the Iran desk at Langley who was arrested, and tied up with Dan Ellsberg, Pentagon Papers thief,... and with the sticky fingered shoplifting female Col. You have to wonder what McCabe was thinking. If I were working under McCabe, I’d have a loss of faith on his orders and keep thinking I might end up as one of his political pawns.
As for Flynn? I think Trump needs to get this whole thing cleaned up and bring Flynn back onto the team by 2019.
The FBI is so corrurpt the only cure is to close it’s doors and burn the building down then build a parking lot there. Oh, let the criminals leave first.
There are 3,400 Obama sppointees still in government, who is advising Trump not to fire them all? He should be fire right after the holdovers.

And the counterterrorism angle is especially troubling...
He wasn't taken down for no good reason.
He was fired for lying to VP Mike Pence.
The fact that the Russia probe is Fake News shows why he shouldn't have lied about innocent contacts with Russia.
Once Flynn lied to VP Mike Pence he sealed his own fate.
Letting the president or vice president go out to defend you when the information you gave them is untrue is a an extreme breach of ethics and loyalty.
At least that's what we were told.
I have always thought that sounded a little fishy...like a cover story for something more complicated.
Flynn knows better than to lie to the VP except for reasons of plausible deniability.
Flynn was unmasked. Plain and simple.
Nevertheless, if Mueller brings any charges against Flynn I would like to see president Trump immediately grant Flynn a pardon.
And that would go for anyone else connected to president Trump who Mueller tried to burn with his witch hunt.
Excluding, of course, anyone who really did commit a serious crime.
But that would most likely be Obama appointees and other democrats.
I say let them burn...
