September 17 is CONSTITUTION DAY!
Bttt.
5.56mm
650,000 people turned out in the streets of Pittsburgh to welcome the Penguins and the Stanley Cup.
Surely we can turn out at least a million for this.
If we do, MSM reports will be that thousands attended.
I won’t be there, but that won’t stop others...
Without being “projectors” like liberals do and puff up our chests, in reality, how many do we really think will show up?
I really don’t know, but am hoping for informed answers (literally by those Freepers close to the ground).
I hope it is huge, so big, the MSM can’t ignore it or even photo shop it.
I hope you have a good time at the rally.
Just my opinion, but you may want to wait till you have reached your destination, already checked, already order any meals for room delivery before you put on your favorite Trump T-Shirt or Red Cap. I’m only half joking.
It should NOT be that way, but it is.
The Dems have become feral animals in too many instances.
Of course, there are some conservatives who welcome a confrontation, and say ‘Bring It On!’.
Seriously?
I’d LOVE to learn that!
Why in 97% DC? Why not in the middle of US? Expensive overrated town.
>If they would have it in heartland America a lot more would come. Myself included.
A few years ago when the 2 comedians held a rally the estimate was 800,000. Shortly after, I think not before, when Glen Beck? had a rally the estimate was 500,000 I went to both events, and the comedian rally was definitely larger. I also went to the Obama Inaugural 2009 and it was far larger than the one for Trump. We were all the way back at the Washington Monument and it was really hard to see the Jumbotrons so many people were in the way. Also, the Mall was totally filled. At the Trump Inaugural, significant portions of the Mall which this time were covered with white plastic plates to protect the grass were visible to me, as they were in photographs which pro Trump tried to say was early or late but not during the Inaugural. They were wrong, I was there, and have been to many other events—the Million Man March, the Gay rights march in the mid ‘90s, the WWII Memorial dedication, etc.
I think it is possible that 500,000 might show up. Estimates are based on a combination of photos from planes and Metro subway and bus figures. I think their figures for the comedians was about 800,000 and for Glen Beck about 500,000
Happy Constitution Day!(Hey, I know that is the 17th, my birthday but, that will be tbe theme)
They appear to have a website, but it lacks a security certificate.
Thanx
That's me in red behind Orly.
I can say that I am up for another trip to DC. Maybe we can resurrect our old "Keep your hands off my healthcare" signs.
Hi Greg.
The sign says: bury Obamacare with Kennedy.
Even horses exquisitely exercised their first amendment right.
The DC Metro (subway) is safe and easy to use. I will be driving to DC and then taking it. Check out the neighborhood around the station if you do this. The red line in Maryland and the line going into Virginia should be ok.
I was there for Glen Beck too. It was a joyful celebration of liberty and being American....lots of red, white and blue....also before he went off the rails. If there were any protestors, they were few and non-violent.
What a great picture! Wish I could go but I’ll be praying for all that do show up.
