Don't bet on that.
For all the talk about how sharply divided the U.S. Supreme Court is, I've noticed that there are certain types of cases where the decisions tend to be lopsided. Two types in particular include religious freedom cases (like the 7-2 decision today in the Missouri church playground case) and Federal separation of powers cases (like the 9-0 decision that thoroughly repudiated Barack Obama in the National Labor Relations Board case in 2014).
It would be great for the Republic if things turned out along similar lines.
