The Democrats just got skunked four to nothing in races they excitedly thought they could win because everyone they hang with hates Trump.

Democrats cling to an idyllic version of a new progressive America where everyone tools around in electric cars, serenely uses gender-neutral bathrooms and happily searches the web for the best Obamacare options. In the Democrats’ vision, people are doing great and getting along. It is the opposite of Trump’s dark diorama of carnage and dystopia — but just as false a picture of America.

It’s not a big deal but when you quote the Times and it looks that ridiculous, you are feeding into a narrative that does not help FR.

I read an article by him last week. It was another big hit piece on Trump. Comey is just an honest guy, blah, blah, blah. Sometimes I think my local editor puts stuff out there just so I can wreck their world, lol. He’s obviously still shooting to be Nancy Pelosi’s replacement.
But she does make a few valid points that some Dems are starting to realize:
The party still seems flummoxed that there are big swaths of the country where Democrats once roamed that now regard the Democratic brand as garbage and its long-in-the-tooth leadership as overstaying its welcome. The vibe is suffocating.

He has quite a bit of work to do if he wants to take down Pelosi. She isn’t going without a fight.
As far as Comey goes, he probably was an honest guy in the system. He has the Clinton Cabal and Obama Cabal hanging on his neck. He is honest no more less his nuts hang from the highest pole. He had no choice other than quit.
Trump did him a favor.
