Johnny Depp has issued an apology for a controversial comment about President Donald Trump, asking, When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?
It did not come out as intended, and I intended no malice. I was only trying to amuse, not to harm anyone, the actor said in a statement to People on Friday.
Depps joke, in reference to the assassination of Abraham Lincoln by John Wilkes Booth in 1865, was made during an appearance at the Glastonbury Festival. I want to qualify, I

When was the last time an actor broke his leg, got chased across two states by angry mobs, hid in a burning barn, and was shot to death?
Maybe we ought to do that again.
L
No.
It was a rhetorical question so that I could get in the appropriate pseudo word “Swish-buckler” I really could care less about those movies
That is mild and actually clever.
This is far different than mock executions, and so forth, which have no humor intent and use "comedy" as a fig leaf.
Apology not accepted
I won’t spend one cent on that POS. I urge everyone to follow that as well.
Pass the word. Let him and his ilk in Hollyweird and elsewhere go bankrupt ASAP.
Over the last four years, I have given up television cable services. When I was married we were spending about $220 a month on the cable, internet, and television channels. We were also spending about that same amount on telephone services.
Today I am paying $70.75 for internet service and $61.50 a month for my cell phone.
In a short period of time I hope to be able to cut the internet service as well.
I should add that I have added Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix. These pretty much took the place of cable TV for $25.00 a month, but I don’t get the first run movies I did.
My brother just alerted me to a new service called the MOVIE/BOX. You get an app, and stream it to your phone or computer. With it, you only stream to one device. The good part is, it costs just $9.99 per year. That’s only a little over $0.81 cents a month. Ouch!
Movie/Box offers up first run movies. I don’t know how they do it, but wow. I set it up to play onto my iPhone7 plus. It’s okay for watching in bed, but I can also feed out to my 56” LGTV through the charging to HDMI port.. The only down side is it’s 720p.
The quality is still decent enough. I’m a bit of a purist, so I don’t like any degradation. None the less, I can live with it for $0.81 cents a month.
Why did I mention this? I am now watching first run movies and paying the Leftist bastards as little as I possibly can to do it.
This week I’ve watched five or six movies. I’m down to a few cents a piece.
Works for me. I have no idea how this works, but there are adds in between the movies and on the home page.
I ignore them. Onward... “:^)
The talent -free loser should be arrested. That is probably what he fears.
Depp is a floater in the clogged toilet of liberalism. Depp's "apology" reeks of hypocrisy.
