Ethel and Julius Clinton, er um, Ethel and Julius Rosenberg were executed.
And why haven’t we executed anyone since then?
I have really mixed feelings about this; execution may be somewhat useful as an example/deterrent; but there also seems to be a lot of sense in keeping them locked-up, and sucking whatever we can out of them.
