Indeed. All of this conspiracy mania was started by leftists who simply could not accept that their hero got clipped by one of their own. Anyone interested should read Vincent Bugliosi’s massive book on the subject. He incinerates the conspiracy theorists in a nuclear fireball of logic and facts.
See my post 15. Explain the 2 identical/scenarios now very well known, plots before Dallas.
I am reading it now.
Still early, but I am losing a bit of respect for Bugliosi, a man I have respected for a long time.
Example: Oswald was broke, and working a minimum wage job, but the last time he saw his wife he gave her $1,300 (in today's dollars). Where did that money come from?
Second Example: Oswald also had $100.00 on him when arrested (again in today's dollars). Where did that come from?
I haven't read Bugliosi's JFK book, although I did listen to him discuss it on C-SPAN where his abilities at logical argument were awesomely impressive as you say. I probably will look at it sometime but I already agree with the conclusion after reading various other large books.
You might be interested in some other books Bugliosi wrote:
The Betrayal of America: How the Supreme Court Undermined the Constitution and Chose Our President
Bugliosi’s book is merely a re-hash of the Warren Commission boondoggle and is based upon an alternate reality.
Just because he wasted so much paper in his attempt to “blow up” the truth doesn’t make any of his theses right.
If you believe JFK was killed, or even shot by Oswald, I’ve got this big bridge in Brooklyn, I’m willing to sell you!
