All of this conspiracy mania was started by leftists who simply could not accept that their hero got clipped by one of their own. Anyone interested should read Vincent Bugliosi’s massive book on the subject. He incinerates the conspiracy theorists in a nuclear fireball of logic and facts.

I haven't read Bugliosi's JFK book, although I did listen to him discuss it on C-SPAN where his abilities at logical argument were awesomely impressive as you say. I probably will look at it sometime but I already agree with the conclusion after reading various other large books.

I read Bugliosi’s book on the Supreme Court case and if memory serves the book contains a fatal flaw: Florida State Court was acting in an illegal fashion and if allowed to proceed Gore would have been elected. Who else had the power to stand up to them?

I did read Bugliosi’s book and it was a fascinating piece. Through 20 years of investigative research, he breaks down point by point the evidence in the case against Oswald. I have no doubt Oswald was the shooter.
