The FBI is investigating the stabbing of a police officer at Flint, Michigan's Bishop Airport as a 'possible act of terror'.
A Canadian man yelling 'Allahu Akbar' repeatedly stabbed the officer including in the neck at the airport on Wednesday morning.
The saying means 'God is great' in Arabic, and is often shouted by Islamic terrorists before attacks or suicide bombings.
The police officer involved in the incident has been identified as Lieutenant Jeff Neville, who is retired from the Genesee County Sheriff's Department.
Sources told WJRT that Neville was at his post at the top of a set of escalators at the airport Wednesday morning when he was attacked from behind with a knife similar to a Bowie knife.
Neville was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but his condition has since improved to stable after coming out of surgery.
Police say a suspect has been taken into custody but they have not released his name.

A lot of allahu akbahring these days. Ramdshitadan is nearing its end. The savages have only 3 more days to get their “double virgins” coupon. 30 days of not eating or drinking during the day has destroyed any sanity they may have had.
There will be more, before their cursed month is over. I’m sick of talking about it. I and we have said all that needs to be said about this. The authorities didn’t deport them all, and so we are talking about this again.
Just by the method it sounds like the guy got radicalized in prison. Stabbing in the neck is preferred for prison murders because it is unprotected with large arteries easy to get to. Prisoners are more likely to have a small shiv rather than something like a Bowie knife so the neck gives a better chance of success.
One month before the San Bernardino Massacre there was a jihadi knife attack at University California Merced. The media covered that one up as best they could. Luckily that jihadi was shot dead before he could stab anybody to death.
Blame squarely rests at the feet of the Michigan Republican Governor. /s
