The Repub parents went ballistic when Dems attempted to reach their kids.....daring to suggest the kids didn’t think like them.
Cops were sometimes called on Dem canvassers.

Young people are idealistic and haven’t yet learned how the world actually works.
I have a notion that there needs to be a summer “Freedom Camp”, a summer camp you can go where besides having fun and be in nature, they also teach you the law of the human jungle.
Some innovative training can be done to simulate a communist or socialist society to show youngster how it doesn’t work. You can teach this. They need to do their own practical experiment with other kids to discover this.
I think you could also bring in a fake Lenin (in costume) or and have him debate an Abraham Lincoln. And the students could interact with them.
What do you others think of this kind of wacky idea?
