Howdy there, PRO!
Glad you had such a nice Father’s Day. But wait! Y’all didn’t save the world while you were at it? Don’t tell me y’all got burned out on the new game already!
A good weekend here though busy. Got some things done that are hard to do while Hubby’s here, and since he was gone for the weekend .....
And am payin’ for it now. LOL! The ol’ back has been harpin’ at me.
All the kittehs are doing ok these days. Buckwheat is doing so much better than this time last week. The kittens are getting wilder by the day and are a lot of fun to watch while they play.

Howdy, LUV.
I gather your temps dropped a bit since you were out picking up sticks around the yard. You did have a lot of them on the ground after that storm.

Ouch, the old sore back, I "feel" your pain.
Oh, we did "save the world" too but mostly just BSing as we did.
Very HOT here, A/C is still blowing and it's still 90ish here.

Yeah, I knew I was going to pay for it but I had to get things done while the opportunity existed. Nothing pressing today so I just took it easy.
OOOOOOkay. That sounds more like it. I was having trouble believing y’all didn’t save the world at some point. LOL!
You’d said it would get blazing hot again over the weekend and it sounds like the weatherman was right. Bummer. It was hot here the past several days but today wasn’t too bad. The rest of the week won’t be too bad either and we appreciate the break. Should get some decent rain next weekend and we need it since we got left out this weekend. Seems like it rained everywhere in TN but here.

Tons of them and I haven’t even come close to finishing! Hubby mowed, but the sticks were still there. It was only about 90 today, so that’s doable!...in short bursts. LOL!
Hope your day went well! Did y’all get any rain? Your hubby get home safe and sound?

It’ has been a great base with fantastic missions through the years. However, Clovis, NM pretty much sucks as a community.

How well we know that ordeal. With so many old trees around the yard, we get a lot of tree trash on the ground after strong storms.
We got a whoppin’ .05 of an inch yesterday while most of TN got a lot more. We were ripped off big time.
Hubby walked in the door before I went to bed this morning! They pulled out when the car show ended yesterday afternoon and drove straight through. He was a tired little man when he got home.

I’ll bet he was! Did they have a good time while they were there? I’ll bet lots of folks drooled over those cars!
.05 of an inch...that sounds like the rains we get. LOL! Maybe next time!

Yes, he had a good time though they had to dry the cars off a few times due to rain.
There were a LOT of awesome cars to drool over .... classic cars, newer cars, tractors, motorcycles, all kinds of vehicles. The show is called EyesOn Design and encompasses everything. This is what they say about it at the top of the web page ....
“The 30th annual EyesOn Design Automotive Design Exhibition will highlight vehicles which represent era-defining body styles and illustrate the critical role design plays in the creation of automobiles uniquely suited for various lifestyles and purposes.”
He didn’t take many pix at the show but got a few. He said the layout was huge and he has no idea how many vehicles were there. I hope they don’t take long posting pix from this year’s show on the site or elsewhere online.
It was frustrating watching the radar yesterday. It was like there was a dome over the county and the rain went all around us. Oh well. They say we have a good shot at it this weekend as the tropical storm that’s over the gulf moves inland. We’ll see.

Oh, boy! So it’s THAT season again! Is this the first one? I haven’t kept up...just been whining about my heat.
Then I read one of my FReeper FRiend’s FB page, and where she lives it’s been over 110 for the past week! Makes mine sound chilly! LOL!
Almost.
You’ll enjoy seeing the pictures he took!

Car show season started here in March. It starts even earlier farther south. The show in MI is an annual event and this was the 30th one.
I did enjoy seeing the pix he took and wish he’d taken more. He isn’t big on taking pix like I am. When we went to the AACA Grand National a couple of years ago, my poor lil camera was smokin’ I took so many. LOL
UGH! 110 degrees? Whew, it makes me sweat to think about it. I melt at 90 degrees. They were calling for 90s here this week but we’ll get enough effect from the storm system in the Gulf to keep us in the 80s instead.
LOL! You need to check out the Latvian owlets. It started raining and they’re dancing in it. Hilarious!
