People keep saying it was a ban it was an “advisory”.
You could have gotten there with enough persistence, political clout & money. I dirt poor college student doing it on his own? That’s hard to square.
Talking about how Hodgkinson took his car to a mechanic the day before the shooting. Wanted to be sure the tires would get him home the following day. Apparently, he planned to kill 20+ Republicans in the morning, and then head home to get there in time for supper.
You are correct its an advisory

Go to crazy places at crazy times, expect crazy things
Rush is wrong about the goading by his girlfriend of the kid that committed suicide. The caller is trying to make the point of a person on a ledge being goaded to JUMP. Rush, this is not free speech!
I believe he is referring to elected Republicans, those presently in power.
I like to keep my head up but know when to keep it down.

Rush IS WRONG:
In United States law, depraved-heart murder, also known as depraved-indifference murder, is an action where a defendant acts with a “depraved indifference” to human life and where such act results in a death. In a depraved-heart murder, defendants commit an act even though they know their act runs an unusually high risk of causing death or serious bodily harm to a person. If the risk of death or bodily harm is great enough, ignoring it demonstrates a “depraved indifference” to human life and the resulting death is considered to have been committed with malice aforethought. In some states, depraved-heart killings constitute second-degree murder,[3] while in others, the act would be charged with varying degrees of manslaughter.
If no death results, such an act would generally constitute reckless endangerment (sometimes known as “culpable negligence”) and possibly other crimes, such as assault.
How did we all live with all the hurt feelings?
Did Rush also say if someone goads someone else to commit murder, the person goading is not responsible? I wasn’t sure if I heard him right. If Rush uses that logic to connect the dots, then someone like Charlie Manson or even Hitler would not be responsible for using others to commit crimes they did not commit with their own hands.
I meant to say, “... A dirt poor college student doing it on his own? Thats hard to square. :....”.
My Surface makes some spelling & grammar decisions for me. I don’t catch them all. I make enough mistakes on my own. The Surface just compounds the problem!
You’re probably right. There are some. Trump hasn’t given them much reason to go to the mat in a very public way. As an example, his “mean” comment regarding the house healthcare proposal. Whacked the knees of a lot of people.
It was suicide, not Murder
Point taken she sucked
Hi all.
I understand you we should not be so callous But Jeez Let it lay where it lays
I didn’t connect the two that way, I thought I heard Rush do that. I would love to see the transcript of that exchange with the caller, just don’t know how it’s done.
Then you missed his point entirely..........It's the "Slippery Slope"
Let me give you an example of the Slippery Slope:
Circa late 1980's, homosexuals should not be villified........Flash forward to today, you're a bigot and a homophobe if you oppose homosexual marriages and sexual dysphoria........now known as "Transgenderism"..........
