Good morning all! There was NEVER a consideration to drop pix or limit them... the discussion and problem many had was in the HUGE pings with graphics.

There will be NO changes per se. Ray will be dropping out of the ping group for personal reasons and I will need a replacement for Thursday and Sat. NOW do not let the prior pings scare you away. When Ray took over the two days it was the understanding he would do a TBT on Thursday and anything he wanted on Sat. I had been doing TBT with about 3 or 4 pix. He expanded that tremendously to either the joy or terror of those who had computer/phone issues.

Anyone who takes over can keep it very simple and I hope they will. Post pix prolifically in the thread but NOT necessarily the ping. The pings will be limited to 4/5 pix of "workable" size. If you want just one day Thursday or Sat, that is workable I would like to keep Thursday as Throw Back Thursday TBT but Saturday is wide open for what you would like to do. I really liked Ray's week in Review. For someone ambitious that would be great but the posting would be ON THE THREAD and the ping would link back to that posting.

When I post the thread on Sundays I try to be considerate with limiting graphics. I appreciate all who contribute here. We have some fine researchers and it is interesting that we have some who are in the nitty gritty of legal on graft issues, some on regular government running, some on media/polls, some on first family/fashion... we seem to keep all things covered don't we?

I am sorry we lost some folk. The couple dozen who have dropped off the lists the past few months - who PMd me - it was for this issue.

This thread is all things Trump. A pix is indeed worth a 1000 (maybe 2000) words. We want news about his family, administration, cabinet, living quarters, apparel etc. ALL THINGS TRUMP.

Ray deserves the warmest thanks for all the time and effort he took to research, assemble, and post the magnificent pings on Thursday and Sat. They were rich in content and fun to see. We wish him and his wife well with the health issues they are facing and we know he will be with us to contribute as his time/life provides.

Ill probably just hang here for the rally but do feel free to post a link if there is a thread. Nikos1121 must be busier now in summer as he hasn’t dropped by here or started new rally threads of which I am aware. I used to love his openings.. background on city, pix etc. I guess I am one of those who gets a bit annoyed when someone just posts a thread titled LIVE THREAD on anything and has absolutely nothing meaty on it

Tuesday, the president and first lady slipped out for a low-key dinner at the home of Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen.

The Trumps slipped out of the White House quickly and quietly, ducking in to a waiting motorcade which drove them the 3.1 miles to the Naval Observatory.

First Lady Melania was typically stylish in a black lace cocktail dress a classic by Dolce & Gabbana. ($2995) and black leather pointed pumps.

We are seeing by each election that money doesn't buy votes as in the past. Money for ads I believe today TURN people off and most people try their best to tune them out. More and more people are NOT watching TV but listening more to entertainment on radio. The days of winning because of LOTS of money have apparently gone thankfully.

Our great President won on issues and a tight budget. We know because, so called experts told us over and over on TV that he's crazy to think he can win and not blast the TV with ads and go door to door. We are sick of hearing this spill! Trust in the person running and to believe they will follow through is what people want. Our President today is doing just that.
