With the rise of automation, there will not be that many jobs.

Since the beginning of time better tools have allowed people to be more productive. Automation is good as long as the nation is trying to be productive and build things and grow food for export. The problem we have is that our elites have been gutting our nation's technological and manufacturing base for years for short term profits.

While some jobs will be replaced by automation, many new opportunities will arise.

Except that for the people working at fast food, there are few options. For that matter, lawyers and doctors also. What will you do with the people who are no longer employed and will never be?
