It baffles me how they come up with this stuff. Most every other European language uses gender declensions including German. Which English doesn’t do, including the impersonal pronoun ,thee, and thou, which it dropped. So are Canadians supposed to adapt these silly rules to these other languages which includes French ?
. You're right in french each noun is either masculine or feminine and unlike english the definitive articles " A " and "The" denotes masculine or feminine, presumably they will have to change to gender neutral definitive articles, may I suggest "Li" for "The".
