It is up to Congress to change it.

“Another” is “another” and once you buy it you are not “another”

I agree with the decision. People need to be protected from Junk Debt buyers but it is not up to SCOTUS to do that..it is up to Congress. The stories about what these JDB’ers do when they are trying to get their money are really crazy. I mean drop your jaw crazy.

Btw, a very rich Junk Debt buyer is in a Cabinet Position now.

Yeah, I guess the difference is that I see the debt to original party still having to be in place for there to be a claim on it once it is sold.

But I’m just responding online to what I have read about it this morning. And really it seems like something to be dealt with at the state level, however simpler it is to address it all at once nationwide.
