It is pretty clear to me they are looking into financial crimes..money laundering etc.
IF Trump did nothing wrong they are trying to trap him a la Nixon. It doesn’t help him that his son in law is being investigated.
I think there is something there from one or more of his underlings.
I realize most here continue to be in denial over this and like to claim those of us cautioning Trump are just nevertrumpers.
They need to lawyer up...and they need to shut up.
I posted that tweet from AriFleischer and got lambasted.
Trump taunted Mueller saying he was vindicated after Comey testimony. Ari tweeted that he wasn’t vindicated until Mueller said he was vindicated and that he should stop talking so he doesn’t walk into a perjury trap.
This is serious business. Preet is gunning for him. NY is gunning for him. Deep State is gunning for him.
He needs to tighten up and shut up if he wants to come out of this with a clean bill from Mueller.
Yeah Yeah isn’t not fair. They didn’t do it to Hillary. That is not a viable defense in a criminal prosecution or impeachment proceeding
btw, Trump’s lawyer going around saying he advised Trump to fire Preet because Preet was going to get him doesn’t help the situation IF that story is true..and it may not be true.
He may have never advised it. And he may have never bragged to his friends that he said it.
where are you getting this information about Kushner being under investigation? The NYT?
Is Mueller allowed to expand is roll to money laundering?
Then Trump would have to play hardball against any congressmen who is for impeachment, and whose district voted for him.
In the election, Trump won the most CD's and he of course won the most states.
I think you nailed it.
First, there seems to be nothing with Russian collusion and Comey told him that three times. Flynn..maybe some consulting fees but the Russians couldn’t have effected the election if they tried, and Hillary would have been the more worthy candidate for Russian support. Comey is an overstepping, egomaniacal, self-referential overly-emotional flake. He should have been fired on Day 1. Unlike his opinions of himself, he is NOT the most important person in DC. He just should have walked off into the sunset and gotten a job with a DC firm for a few million bucks a year. I trust the tweets more than most as it is his only venue for honest broadcasting. We will see.
