Cardiopulmonary arrest can come about from reasons other than a heart attack.

Overly aggresive waterboarding, drug overdose, choking, plastic bag over his head.

Could it have been a suicide attempt? I remember the kid being really upset at the “trial” (if you can call it that?)and I wonder if he may have thought anything was better than life as a prisoner of the North Koreans?

I’m not arguing if or not that is possible.....pretty much anything can be “possible” regarding N.Korea. ..and everyone knows this quite well......But lets not loose the point and that is Otto and his parents were well informed of the risks of what was “possible” to happen by his son going into “Pariah” invested waters....whatever false sense of security they and their son believed ..the reality is it did not play out even remotely close to what they thought and believed.

They lost their son in N.Korea...what they brought home is a mind riddled with severe brain damage... and severe contraction of the muscles in his arms and legs.....all four limbs are paralyzed.

Truly a nightmare of overwelming shock and distress for the family and just one week out of learning of his condition........nothing will ever be the same for them....for this we all understand and pray the Lords abiding presence.
