After House Majority Whip Rep. Steve Scalise, of LA. was shot when a gunman opened fireat a GOP baseball practice in Alexandria, VA., celebrities were more concerned with the politics of gun control than the fact that a U.S. congressman was shot.
Mia Farrow, previous wife of Frank Sinatra and star in The Great Gatsby (1974), tweeted:
Julianne Moore (The Hours and Carrie) retweeted the following (inaccurate propaganda) from David Frum, who attacked Virginias gun laws.
Film producer Tariq Nasheed immediately referenced a controversial speech Scalise delivered to the right-wing European-American Unity and Rights Organization, when tweeting about the issue:
Apparently, the fact that Scalise had addressed the group a decision he publicly regretted was more important to Nasheed than the shooting, itself.
Charles Clymer, a popular free-lancer (he has 66.4K followers on Twitter) directly advocated talking about gun control, unapologetically politicizing the shooting.
The political rage many celebrities and public figures condemn is now empowering these divisive, politicizing tweets
Yep, the anti 2nd amendment DC establishment pukes and their ruling elite overlords still fear armed American patriots. These unindicted DC criminals totally ignore that fact being instrumental in the passage of the Bill of Rights and our Constitution.
Charles Clymer? The guy is really a Clymer?
Really. What were these GOP politicians thinking. In public, in NOVA, and unarmed. Recklessly stupid.
Muslims didn’t use guns on 9/11 but box cutters.
And too muc hatred in the minds and hearts of the indoctrinated.
If they are smart, they won’t be in the same situation the next time.
Celebs have no place to speak about safety.....they all have body guards, fences, walls around their homes... and a host of other means to be secure...what could they possibly know about a normal citizen wanting to protect themselves!
So sick of Hollywood celeb’s rattling their jaws that Youtube documentaries are proving far better watching then anything they’re putting out there. They do not realize how much their political meddling and outbursts have caused me to cease watching them at all!
Excellent point.
When Hollywood ceases to build their walls and security fences..and fire their body guards....then we’ll talk about their need or not for guns. As long as they are heavily protected they are in no place to talk at all!
He does the name proud.
Too many liberals.
Reduce gun violence - disarm the democrats
They do not realize how much their political meddling and outbursts have caused me to cease watching them at all!
Using the "logic" espoused by the gun-grabbers, the time has come to ban all Bernie supporters.
Clymer? Lol. What did George W. Bush call Adam Clymer? “Major league a**hole from the New York Times,” or something like that. And whomever he was talking to said, “Big time,” I think.
Hilarious. Wonder if this little child is related.
UPDATE: They now say the Bernie Sanders-inspired mass shooter was fed on HATE from Rachel MadCow! Huh, no surprises here!
The US national HATE Media and Democrats are DIRECTLY to blame for the shooting of the Congressional Republicans! Within the last month two artistic works have drawn criticism for imagined violence against Trump. In May, comedian Kathy Griffin apologized for a photo where she held a mask of a bloody, severed Trump head after a major backlash where CNN cut ties with her. More recently, a production of Shakespeares Julius Caesar depicted a Trump-like figure who was assassinated. The presidents eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., on Twitter highlighted another users tweet that said, Events like today are EXACTLY why we took issue with NY elites glorifying the assassination of our President, soon after shots were fired at Republican congressmen during a baseball practice.
FOR SHAME!!
Charles Clymer?
These same loons ALL HAVE ARMED GUARDS..if they hate guns so much FINE, tell their armed guards to STAND DOWN
When they say “Too many guns”, be sure to add:
“...in the hands of violent Democrats.”
