She chose the name goldberg because she thought it was funny to be black and jewish
She was a comedian for many years and her signature act was pretending to be a young white girl with golden hair
She testified before congress back in the 1990’s when the rats were accusing repubs of hating women because of the “Mexico City” restrictions on abortion funding, in that testimony she admitted to having 7 or 8 abortions (couldn’t remember) ,, and that Medi-Cal paid all but $2 each time...
“Without abortion she never would have made it as a comedian....”
Although she was a HS dropout she has pretended to have a PhD in Lit. ,, seems like she attended/graduated from an acting school after making some money on the comedy club circuit.

She is a very gifted comedian but sadly is no longer that. Everything else about her is not good. Today she is naught less than a left wing raving lunatic whom is truly ignorant.
She should have stuck to comedy. I liked her greatly as a comedian. When she turned political I found her vile and very stupid.
