In response to the AMEX sponsorship of a play suggesting assassination of President Trump, a boycott should be initiated. I would be interested in talking with anyone who might have the web and marketing capabilities necessary to begin. I will watch this thread for ideas and contacts. Let the fun begin!

I canceled my AMEX card just this morning. The rep asked why and I politely let her have it.

That’s only slightly disingenuous, because, as anyone with common sense knows, once the funds go into the Public Theater’s coffers, they mix together and can be used to fund any production.

AMEX basically said they had not specifically supported the Trump Assassination Play, but planned to continue to support NYC Public Theater.
I am an AMEX cardholder and I had a long debate with them today.
Basically I told them once their AMEX funds go into the NYC Public Theater’s coffers, they mix together and can be used to fund any production.
I also told them I want them to apologize to President and Mrs. Trump for supporting NYC Public Theater.
If you are an AMEX card holder call them or do an online chat with them.

So what is a good alternative if I cancel my Amex card (I sent them a email threatening to cancel my card if they do not stop supporting the NYC Public Theater by the end of this month)? I am tired of the cards that are associated with airlines that have become so miserly with their rewards. What is the best card that will give me cash back?
Yes, loosing Costco was a good thing. My old company card was Amex. I have no ammo left. Since they pulled their support quickly that satisfies me.
Our dollars are the only vote we have.
