Attorney General Jeff Sessions will be testifying before congress today and his former democrat colleagues have promised to tear him limb from limb. Fired FBI Director James Comey previously testi-lied that it was his opinion Jeff Sessions was placed inside the U.S. Attorney Generals office to coordinate with Vladimir Putin. Gottabe a spy, ohmygosh.
AG Jeff Sessions response will take place at approximately 2:30pm EDT today. Tickets for the circus level fiasco are sold out and media are breathless with anticipation.

I respectfully disagree. All Sessions had to do was stop the police political witch hunt. He could not find the intestinal fortitude within himself to do so. That is a fact. The larger question for me is why do so many posters here refuse to see what is going on. What is going on? Are you blind?
What do you mean “start” manufacturing evidence? They started by inventing problems in search of proof and made things up from there.
Whether it is working or not depends on how many people believe the crap the MSM are repeating that the left is spewing. Based on past history and just how stupid the electorate is and how many think their gravy train will be emptied before it gets to them I’d say the liars will win.
Add to that just how stupid the stupid party is and I’d say it is just about given the left will win.
What I can see I see pretty clearly and so tell me how Sessions could stop this in some effective way other than just saying stop and directing that the investigation by the FBI just end. Was that the only investigation?
Trump certainly could not do it nor direct someone else to end it. Maybe he could but it would not end well.
So please explain the practical process by which Sessions could have ended this silliness that would have in fact and politically ended well. I would like to not only see what is going on but to know it and understand it.
You assert as fact something that we can’t possibly know and that is the feelings Sessions has in the matter. It is a fact that he did not stop the investigation and did recuse himself from it but beyond his belief that he had no legal choice but to recuse himself we know no other fact about his motivation be it pride, prejudice or lack of intestinal fortitude. I’d also wager that Trump knew what he was going to do well before he did it.
As I have ponted out earlier, this whole affair including the appointment of Mueller has happened in a flash as it has been scripted for some insane reason.
Trumps been encircled by rings of corrupt career politicians and collusive media liars from nearly two years. This is nothing new for Trump. He's got all the right enemies and he continues to win.☺
What if detectives just decided not to recommend charges for any crimes other than murder and the DA offices said they had no problem with that. The legal system would collapse.
True, but that does not justify what Jeff Sessions did via his cowardly recusal.
blah blah blah
You sound like a very reasonable person and I will give you a very reasonable answer. All that Jeff Sessions had to do was not act in the way that he did. He didn't have to do anything. But he chose a course of action which was detrimental to not only the President, but the nation.
You say we cannot determine his motivation, but his very statements betray that fact. He was guarding his reputation. Period.
At the very best, we will come out of this with the wounded presidency. At the worst, Trump will be destroyed. And so will his agenda. Immigration reform. Rebuilding the military. Saving the economy. Name it.
But Jeff Sessions can say he was above it all, in his slow, weird manner.
So mature. Would you like to throw out any more immature taunting?
Who? Old Shakey?
I don’t think Sessions realized the magnitude of recusing himself in the Russia investigation. What did he say today though that was do damaging?
The more I think about this idiot hearing by Sessions today, the more it looks like a play to keep his job as AG. Don’t know for sure....
Nothing else makes sense.
Blah blah blah blah ...

If the Founders had intended there to be a definition of 'natural-born' other than the standing (two centuries old at the time) definition they would have included it in the Constitution. They did not. Therefore, the dictionary definition is the legal definition. That's basic jurisprudence.
You can dredge up all the contrived cherry-picked rationalizations you want, and contort all the SCOTUS rulings that *don't* say what you claim they say, but it will never change the fact that a natural-born citizen is merely one who is born a citizen.
As much as you would like it to mean that only someone born on the 4th of July, in Washington DC to ten generations of NBC parents can be considered a NBC, you can't have that.
Clearly the Founders considered that children would be born to parents who would spend considerable time overseas, thus the requirement that those children be residents of the US for fourteen years - that is at most 40% of their lifetimes. Yet they never specified that those children had to be born here. Furthermore, at that time, citizenship of the father was all that mattered, women were still second-class citizens. So both the 'two citizen parents' rule is falsified, and the 'born in the USA' rule is falsified. Only citizenship at birth remains.
And I have read Vattel, whom you birther cultists like to reference, and he didn't say what you claim he said. You have to selectively read him to extract your interpretation. Plus, Vattel is not a founding document, no matter who read him during the convention. Get over it.
Undesirable is not the same as ineligible. The first is determined by the rational execution of judgment, the second by law. Don't confuse them.
Tool.
Never post while under the influence.
What he did today neither added nor detracted from justice. He simply took care of himself. He is a selfish man.
in all fairness to John McCain ( who I think is a Democrat truly!!)... he may be developing Parkinson’s Disease.
My husband has it and shows the same symptoms.
