Americas hyper-politicization continues to grow apace. We now find public officials who regard themselves as progressive attacking citizens who dont happen to agree with every aspect of their agenda (i.e., state regulation of just about everything). A revealing case like that has just surfaced in Michigan.
Steve Tennes owns a farm (called The Country Mill) in the small town of Charlotte in south-central Michigan. He grows a variety of fruit and for years has been trucking some of it to sell in the public Farmers Market in East Lansing, about twenty miles away.
The buying and selling of produce used to be a matter of pure commerce, untainted by politics, but now East Lansing officials have banned Tennes from their market because he did something unpardonablehe declined to do a same-sex wedding on his property (which isnt even in the same county as East Lansing). Once that came to light, city officials decided to strike back at him through their regulatory powers.
Heres how this story unfolded.
In 2014, a gay couple wanted an orchard wedding at The Country Mill, which is something Tennes offers. But he turned these two women down because of his religious belief that marriage should be between a man and a woman. He suggested that they try another farm in the area and the two were subsequently married in 2015. The following year, however, one of the two women wrote a Facebook post in which she urged consumers not to do business with Country Mill due to the owners discrimination against gay couples.
In doing that, she was perfectly within her rights. People are free to denounce merchants and advocate boycotts against them if they wish.

That's exactly what happens in the book "Enemies Foreign And Domestic".
Believe me, it's a page turner!

“...Extremely kicks back...HARD!!!”
They have sown confusion and doubt and disarmed any of their adversaries by hiding behind behind anything they can...children, religion, health care, families, “jobs”, college tuition and the list continues to nausea.
Anyone who opposes them is racist, homophobe, anti-children, anti-living wage, anti this, anti that, and their allies in the media keep the propaganda going, 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, with a larger and larger percent of the voting public becoming radicalized without knowing it.
IMHO
All of what you say is true...
And it all needs to be totally ignored by the REAL American people...
It’s time...Past time... to get America back...
I don’t really know what it will take, but, believe me, it will NOT be pretty....

Citizen! Have you...
Rolled your eyes?
Folded your arms?
Eaten garlic for lunch?
Farted?
Asked who's paying for the infrastructure?
Prepare to be "perceived"!
"PIP seems to have become a popular tool to the new generation middle managers for the purpose of a "homogeneous team". That is, PIP has become an acceptable and common practice to get rid of the "black horse" employee that is typically high-skilled and highly productive, thus at odds with a team of mostly mediocre members (including the manager) and hard to terminate based on pure work performance."
Here is our progressive,
"spiritual", tolerant opinion
- now you shut up and agree to disagree...

Food for thought.
Take care, stay well, and don’t forget the ones who didn’t come home.

If Atty. Gen. Sessions is preoccupied with cracking down on marijuana laws then he is a stupid fool. Americans are tired of being put in legal jeopardy with “The War on Drugs”. It should be relabled “The War on Americans”.
The Feds need to focus on external enemies like the Founding Fathers intended.
Fortunately, Tennes is challenging the legality of East Lansings exclusion of his business from the farmers market. Aided by Alliance Defending Freedom, he has filed suit in U.S. District Court. His complaint argues that East Lansing has targeted him because of his views about marriage in violation of the First and Fourteenth Amendments, as well as in violation of Michigan law that disallows cities from regulating activities conducted outside their boundaries.
God speed, and I hope East Lansing ends up owing Tennes a LOT of money.
Those will never be forgotten.....

I think there are folks working on that idea.
A Christian Polyculture Responds to Trump on Climate
MY RESPONSE: WHAT CAN I SAY EXCEPT
THANK YOU.
I want to thank President Trump for pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement. Sure, I almost gag as I type those words, but there is a little thread of truth in them.
For some strange reason, this speech shattered my last vestige of hope that the United States government can be the final solution to a major problem. Sure, it can still play a role, but I now realize something that every good high school civics student should be able to articulate: a government is only as good as its people.
And, in case we should fail to remember, the environmental and soil health movement is largely farmer and consumer driven (Thanks for the reminder, Eric Fuchs!). Maybe, the world is in better hands than we may think ours.
The world is in the hands of mothers and fathers, businessmen and unemployed, educated and illiterate. Maybe, now that President Trump has washed his hands of the environment and justified it with economic prosperity, we can learn to wash the feet of our neighbor and our world.http://christianfoodmovement.org/2017/06/02/a-christian-polyculture-responds-to-trump-on-climate/
“I remember and think about my “brothers at arms” every single day...”
I like to call them my brothers from different mothers.
One can only try to be worthy of what they did.
IMHO
Agreed...
Those of us who did come home have the responsibility to keep the country right for what they sacrificed for...
Amen.
Amazed that Forbes wrote in favor of Tennes.
So true.
I believe Trump was providentially sent. Even so, we cannot take any outcome for granted.
We are now engaged in the existential conflict all of us knew was coming. I think the question is, are these the End Times, or do we have a fighting shot at extending the interregnem?
My faith remains so new, my biases want the latter.
Thank God I’m not in charge of the larger picture.
Get right to it. When heterosexuals do what they do to make more heterosexuals it is called “love”, or “intimacy” or a number of other euphemisms. When homosexuals do what they do to make more homosexuals it is called pedophilia...
In my industry, Real Estate, with lots and lots of rules and regulations, working with cities and counties with their rules and regulations, our favorite line is "better to ask forgiveness than permission". Mr. Farmer, show up and start selling anyway and see what they will or even can do to you.
I asked her now that some want to change the very meaning of marriage, I am wrong and a homophobic, un American, deplorable and need to get my face socked because I will not go along with the new age thinking? She said of course not, they are wrong, she moved a little more away from them.
“She moved a little more away from them....”
If I had it to do all over again, I would have home-schooled my children.
There are none more obnoxious than those who would engage in an insidious, perfidious campaign to indoctrinate young people.
IMHO
That's true -- not only that, but it's a war on the Bill of Rights -- one freeper listed how the War on Drugs has impacted 90% of the Bill of Rights here.
