Trump said that the FBI was in disarray. Comey has a different opinion, so therefore, says Comey, Trump lied. That was the stunning “revelation” spinning over and over again on a CNN chyron. Kind of like saying “broccoli is tasty” is a lie. Shocking!
Agreed. All the shade that Trump was throwing could be taken (and this is the way I take it) as personal to Comey. Comey's FBI is a shambles. Comey's FBI has crappy morale, and so on. Get rid of Comey, and the FBI shapes up.
Most people get it, which makes them laugh at the likes of CNN.

Thank you. I have been thinking the same thing all day long. Comey’s assertion of a “lie” by Trump was an opinion. I am amazed none of the genius lawyer Senators didn’t exploit that obvious non sequitir.
