I am going to say I absolutely do not believe you are a lawyer. If you are, then you should know better than what you are posting and are just trying to slam me.
The public impression that Trump was being criminally investigated, amplified by the president’s critics in the media, was effectively Comey’s get-out-of-jail-free card. The former FBI director likely assumed that no president would be crazy enough to fire a man whom the public believed to be investigating the president. Only a madman would fire that guy, right? Everyone in Washington knows how this game is played. They all know the tune by heart.
Unfortunately for Comey, Trump had no intention of playing that game and dancing that dance. What really happened is that Trump was wise to Comey’s con and finally had enough of it. He figured out what Comey was doing — deliberately refusing to correct a factually inaccurate impression of the FBI’s ongoing investigation as a means of protecting his job — and called his bluff.
Interesting. That’s basically the methodology Hoover used to stay in power; files of dirt on his political enemies, or the threat of dirt on his political enemies. Meanwhile, we later learned Hoover was a cross-dressing closet homosexual. Dirty as hell.
Drinking game. Drink every time Comey says that is a big deal.
In the future when you look up quisling in the dictionary there will be a picture of James Comey. Filth is more descriptive of the DNC Senators and Comey. Comey’s statement released prior to his appearing set this whole filthy pretend up to manipulate the American public. Comey was fired because he is a total political hack and a criminal mind running the main criminal arm of the Federal gov’t.

Forget which show it was on but recall someone indicating that at the time of the “ let it go” comments, they had already determined Flynn did nothing illegal with the Russians, and he had been fired by Trump. Hence the “ let it go” comment.
If I’m recalling this correctly , that seems like a normal statement for anyone to make. Very similar to his wanting Comey to clear up he wasn’t being investigated.
Donald being a businessman see issues, resolves them, and moves on.
Politicians make issues out things that are done to keep their own importance relevant.
All of this is kabuki theater to convince us we need them to protect us from “ The Russians” or whomever they deem would harm us, when in fact they are an equal danger to us..in many regards ( spying for political purposes )
Comey can’t interpret Trump’s tweets.
But he’s done nothing today but base every answer on feelings and body language.
