Trump likes to come out swinging at the press. But I don't think they are the real problem. Yes they are historically bad, they will always be bad and unfair, but for all that they cannot stop Trump. So I don't thing the press is the real problem. Where I disagree with Cavuto is that I don't consider Trump any part of the problem. So who is?
Well, it turns out that the only group that CAN stop Trump is the GOP controlled congress. And they are in fact stopping him with their stalling, delaying, and passive aggressive behavior. Trump should be focus his fire on them, they are his enemies and he needs to engage them. His tactics need to be less direct than with democrats because with them it has to be scorched earth. But with the GOP he needs to put the fear of god into them that if they don't line up as allies he will make sure they never get a moment's peace until they are run out of office on a rail. Then things might actually start to happen.
I understand what you’re saying especially about the GOPe. I would add that the elites fight dirty and Trump needs leverage over them. I think he will get that over time that’s why the Dem/Rep establishment want him out now.
The longer Trumps stays the more likely he will gain the ammo to undermine his opposition.
