The GOP had control of the purse strings for 6 of the 8 years, and they didn’t stop it?...................
I think it was just recently discovered by Sessions.
Weren’t these ‘fines’ paid by corporations? So not really tax dollars, but it should’ve come back to the gov’t & the GOP certainly should’ve stopped it. Sessions & the DOJ should be demanding the money back & prosecuting whoever thought this was a legitimate activity for DOJ personnel to be doing.
