Much of that was directed to snooping in general. The DEM politicians talk a better job of defending privacy than the GOP does.
Interesting that (and how) the witnesses are invoking existence of Special Counsel as justification to refuse to reply. Coats and Rogers are shadowing that maybe WH will invoke executive privilege.

If Russia wished to interfere with American elections, they would have undoubtedly done so in FAVOR OF HILLARY CLINTON!
The result would have been:
Further decay of US military.
Open borders destroying US identity and hastening the collapse into third-world status.
Trade deals to further weaken the US economy.
Even worse (if possible) US public ‘education’ system. ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ takes up about 6 weeks in several grades. Our system is ranked about 25th in the world.
Embrace of muslim immigration in unlimited numbers from anywhere. “Never let a good crisis go to waste.”
Horrible regulation and taxation of what’s left of American industry.
Drinking unlimited quantities of global warming Koolaid to the tune of hundreds of billions of taxpayer $. Making Algore the climate czar.
Identification and prosecution of all ‘deplorables’ and their families as seditious.

That makes sense. View this as "Comey is under investigation" and the pieces fit. I don't see how NSA nd DNI would be involved in that investigation though.
Listening to the democratic senators, I find them bullying these intelligence officers, and very offensive in how they interact with them. It should show the voters in their states that they need to replace them!
Not too bad so far.
The one to watch is Coates. I think he will sell the POTUS out when not in public.
Rogers is great so far.

You might be spot on. They do not want make public comments about Comey and the President, until Comey testifies.
