Sounds a bit like my dear recently departed 19-yr-old curmudgeon tuxedo cat Putzie! You just had to pay close attention to his mood, which my wife did not, as she paraded around with him as her surrogate baby and frequently got nipped when she over-loved him.

Oh, if cats could talk, I wonder what kind of names they would have for us, LOL!

If cats could talk, they would complain about the universally substandard service that their human servants provide. We fail to appreciate our true subservient position to them.
If aliens ever invade, the cats will be first to defect...

“slave human”, “delayed feast still walking”, “noisy hairless ape-like thing”, “food servant”, “doorman”?

If cats were bipedal with opposable thumbs, they could conquer humanity.
But they’d stop halfway through to chase moths and nap.

Sounds like this broad is not familiar with the nature of every cat that ever lived (and I happen to love cats, but I also know my place in their world ..).

Many cats will gently nip you to let you know that (1) they want to be petted, (2) they’ve had enough petting, (3) they want some attention. My Maine Coon does it. My little rescue kitty does it. It’s a form of communication. It sounds like Mr. Biggles just doesn’t realize how hard he is nipping. He needs some gentle behavioral shading. I’ve had to do that with formerly ferals I’ve adopted over the years and they were the best cats ever.

If that cat could talk, what tales he’d tell,
About Della and the Dealer and the dog as well.
But the cat was cool,
And he never said a mumblin’ word.

If she had it as a kitten she probably screwed it up trying to turn it into something it was not and now is bitter and unable to accept that fact.
She lives alone too,I bet.

Just re-read...Its a feral cat period. They suck.
My sis gave one to our mother (87yo). Couldn’t pet it acted just like the one in the article.
I told her to get it out of Maws house so she took it to her 50 acre farm.Disapered after a few weeks.met its match, good.

Like claiming that an adoptable dog’s name was ‘Uggy’. Makes people have more sympathy. Why did you call the dog ugly, you bastard? The dog is not ugly! You are.
It’s personality that counts.
Now, if only people would apply that philosophy to HUMANS as well.
