Third Incident Reported in Vauxhall Area as Central London is Locked Down

POLICE are responding to a THIRD suspected attack in the Vauxhall area of south London.

It comes just minutes after London Bridge was struck by a van and knife assault.

And armed cops stormed nearby Borough Market moments later.

A tweet from the Metropolitan Police said: “Officers are now responding to an incident in the Vauxhall area.”

The suspect, seen wearing black, was cuffed an led away.

His image appeared on TV, social media and was confirmed by witnesses to Sun reporters.

Vauxhall Station has since reopened.
