As I said on other threads, U.S. involvement in this Paris Accord is illegal because it is unconstitutional. It is unconstitutional because the Constitution doesn’t authorize the feds to meddle in “weather” issues.

It is also illegal because the treaty was signed without the advice and consent of Congress.

All President Trump has to say is that since the previous president violated the Constitution in entering this agreement, it is invalid and the United States is not obligated to abide by it. He should add that it should go through the proper congressional channels and brought to a vote. If it passes, it can then also be vetoed.
