Crowdstrike wrote all these papers accusing FancyBear, CozyBear, all in different apartment numbers, and a lot of people assumed the ‘bear’ part meant Russian.

APT is an acronym for “advanced persistent threat”

What Alperovitch calls “Fancy Bear” and “Cozy Bear” are more commonly known as APT28 and APT29, respectively.
