A good example is the two white female entrepreneurs who were driven out of business because they learned to make burritos in Mexico and brought the method back with them.
First of all they are women - that would have given them carte blanche just a few years ago. But now cultural appropriation is the new weapon against society so that is what was used to take them down.
The two women are partners in business and possibly more; could they have played the lesbian card and would it have trumped the new culture card? It is hard to say.
What might come of all this if they say they "self identify" as Latinas when they are making burritos? ... or is that card already played out too?
I'll bet they can't even safely choose a bathroom in Portlandia.
Need to say they were “transitioning” and now sue for discrimination against “persons” of protected class!
