First Lady Melania Trump became the breakout star of President Donald Trumps first trip abroad, stunning fashion industry observers by wearing only the highest quality in high fashion.
From visits to Saudi Arabia to Israel to Brussels, the former model First Lady set her sights on an extensive wardrobe made only for the most discerning of fashion tastes. In Reem Acra, to Ralph Lauren, to her love for custom-made Dolce & Gabbana, Melania Trump took the world by storm with her style, channeling an elegance and grace that perhaps hasnt been seen since former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy.

As Melania departed with her husband for the administrations first foreign trip, the First Lady stunned in a Max Mara creme-toned knit sweater and Hervé Pierre rust-colored leather skirt. American Vogue deemed the look Melanias most fashion-forward ensemble since she became First Lady.

Those shoes are amazing.
Yes, this is a photo from Brussels ... NATO spouses.
Sorry, don't know who the one in blue is.
It's one of my favorite pictures from the Vatican visit. :-)
I think the one in blue is Erdogan’s wife.
For some reason, she reminds me of Farrah Fawcett.
Bibi said how much his wife and Melania hit it off. Bibi’s speech was very natural and very friendly towards the Trumps. “You know - he is the first American president to ever visit the Western Wall!”
The comments accompanying the article are hilarious.
Photoshopped and was Queen Letizia of Spain not Italian.
I am in awe of Melania Trump’s poise and ability to walk on those shoes. Two steps in those spike heels and I’d be in the hospital with multiple broken bones from the fall.
Seriously, it’s nice to see grace and appropriate style on a First Lady.
As for the picture of Michelle O in that off the shoulders, practically naked, blouse - someone needs to tell Michelle that not only is she the former First Lady, she is not 16 years old, she is not 125 lbs and nor is she a paratrooper. Ugh.
It comes naturally to Melania. She was a model and that's what they do for a living.
She pushed a White House renovation and the arts. She was very demure about it, too. A beautiful woman. I was a huge fan and in the 70s I used to see her around Manhattan looking fabulous in jeans and a jersey shirt.
Awesome, Thanks!
Mrs. Macron looks like she sucked on a lemon....
Long and Lean
GREAT THREAD. Thanks KC!
We have a lot of FLOTUS pix on Dose but it is great to have them all together for this trip.
Perhaps for each subsequent trip you can have an ongoing thread to cover her activities n outfits. We can link it to Dose
Good job all who shared pix AND it’s good to have a few of MO to recall the light years we’ve improved
It means a lot.
A Melania Fashion Thread? I think I could figure something like that out. :)
Mooch set the bar so low it rested on the ground.
FLOTUS Melania is just Radiant and is a Galactic Improvement.
I have a few pics I will post over on the Dose thread :)
I like the cargo pants if they weren’t so BAGGY. Top is trashy and teenagerish LARGE women should AVOID at all cost.
Just bought the Mr. some cargo Docker shorts, the Navy base had them on sale for $15 and they are normally $35 at the Exchange, go to a civilian store they are $60. He carries his cell and wallet in those pockets. He’s gone to mostly all cargo pants long or short. Wallets in your back pocket are the cause of Back Pain. When they are in that side pocket with a Velcro or button it can’t fall out of your pocket like they do on regular pants. Since he rarely has to wear dress clothes any more as he retired over a decade ago.
That side pocket is a good place for your cell phone, as women’s pants have very small pockets as a norm.
My new Capri’s have a cargo pocket but it’s not that big but I can get some change or my eye drop bottle in it.
I’ll be 77 in Aug. I like comfort in my clothes, which are hard to find for my age range. So T’s and Jean’s have become the ‘new’ casual wear along with some Capri’s for summer.
She is the first lady of Turkey.
With the sunglasses I’m reminded of Sophia Loren
Thanks for the nice reply.
I didn’t read up on her much. What I heard about her was snippets here and there.
