Full Title: WH Budget: Claiming Child Care Tax Credit, Earned Income Tax Credit Now Require a Social Security Number
(CNSNews.com) – The president’s budget requires that those receiving the child care tax credit and the earned income tax credit now must have a Social Security number to claim those tax credits.
“We talk about how to prioritize spending and how to look at programs that work and don't work. The childcare tax credit and the earned income tax credit. One of our proposals is that we are going to require you to have a Social Security number now to collect those,” White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney said Monday during an off-camera briefing.
“Why is that? Because I can ask you for your money, I think, in good faith and good conscience and say, look, I need to take some of your tax money and give it to this family who deserves the childcare tax credit, but I can't do it to give the earned income tax credit, which is designed to help folks who work, to give it to somebody who is in the country and working illegally," he said.

It is not that nobody cares, but there hasn't been anyone with any power to do anything about it that cared.
Those of us that have been fighting open borders and illegal immigration have been speaking out about this for years, but seemed like no one was listening that cared. It is this type of issue that caused us to be labeled as racist, ETC.
Thank God we now have President Trump who does care, understands how wrong it is and seems determined to fix it.
I have been saying the biggest battle we face against the dims and RINOs is open borders, illegal immigration. For some reason they support illegals over citizens and will make it a hill to fight on.
For Child Tax Credits yes they let them use ITINs, they were not supposed to let them do that for EIC which is the bigger credit/refund. Breitbart did a story a few years back that illegals were using fake and other people’s SSNs to get the EIC...and when notified by Social Security the numbers did not match the IRS has been ignoring that and allowing illegals to continue to get that as well.
It has been total insanity and will not be easy to fix but it has to be fixed, tons of money being paid out to illegals and obviously we cannot afford it and even if we could it is not right.
The truth is for many years our government has been allowing illegals to game the system and collect a lot of money that they should not be able to get; not just from the IRS but government wide, agency after agency. Not only allowing illegals to game the system, but figuring out ways to make it easier for them to do so.
We must face the fact that our own government, along with Democrats, RINOs have decided illegals and refugees are far more important than citizens. President Trump will face an uphill battle all the way fighting this system wide corruption and theft of tax dollars. I hope he can manage to turn the tide but it will not be easy and it is one of the reasons the establishment is out to get him.

Stopping him from restoring the rule of law and removing the illegal aliens is THE reason they are out to get him.
IRS has been letting illegal aliens use ITINs instead of SS numbers.
Great. So they can get a tax refund, while WE foot their grocery, housing, education and healthcare bill.

In SoCal you will see people dressed as the Statue of Liberty standing on street corners advertising tax services to illegals.
Why would illegals care about taxes? Because these storefronts are where illegal aliens file to get free money from Americans who have no idea that this is going on and that they are paying for it. They just wonder how it is that they are scraping by while Mexico’s poor can afford to pile in to the country and push them out of their own neighborhoods.
The Catholic church aids and abets this lawlessness as well but that’s another matter.

Oh I have no doubt if he completely backed off the open border/illegal immigration issue they would lighten up on him. Not that they still wouldn’t try to keep him from getting other things done but the viscous attacks would cease.

A SSN is not required for employment. You can use a tax ID number if you wish.
In some cases under two or three names and SS numbers.
