New Leftist tactic.
Leftist media designates some angry Democratic party activist a “reporter” task them with aggressively heckling a Republican. They repeatedly shout Democratic party talking points at candidates, in a progressively more aggressive manner, invading the Republicans personal space, even pushing aside their security(including Secret Service agents) hoping their harassment will eventually lead to a reaction.
They claim to be “just trying to ask a question” but their questions are always of the form - “experts say your the GOP health care plan will kill children, Do you want children to die so you can give your rich friends a tax cut ?”
If their target tries to ignore them they get progressively more aggressive. Note they are rarely actual reporters being paid to cover someone but unpaid activist wanna-be.
Then if they get a reaction all the leftist media go crazy, misrepresent the actual even(ignore the provocation) and make the Republicans reaction their lead story.
Unfortunately this tactic works, it has cost us at least on Senate seat (Allen-VA) and hurt the campaigns of numerous Republicans.
