I didn’t know Melania was a Catholic. I wonder if she is a traditional practicing Catholic, or the typical off-and-on Catholic of our day.

They attend an Episcopal church near their home in MarAlago : Bethesda by The Sea.
She took the wife of Japanese Abe to visit it when they visited They were married there

Well, she married a twice divorced non-Catholic.

And had Bill and Hill at her wedding.

I think she’s a believer and her nominal family background from Europe is Catholic, but I don’t know.

Was her country communist when she was born?

If she is her husband's third wife and the first two are still alive then I'd say it's not likely she's a "traditional practicing Catholic."

But I'll take whatever I can get from a presidential spouse at this point. LOL.
