That’s fine. Colbert is free to speak his mind, and we’re all free to not watch his show. The FCC doesn’t need to investigate every outburst by every late night talk show host, or they wouldn’t have time to do anything else.

#24 If the FCC does not do something then tv will quickly go into the gutter then the sewer.
I bet the FCC quietly is letting them know there will be a penalty if they do this again. I remember when Dan Rather kept lying about George Bush.
He was eventually replaced and was seen on a going away goodbye, don’t let the door hit you on the way out show. He still was off the air from CBS.
Colbert may lose his job too.
