Staffers at the conservative Fox News Channel are blasting host Sean Hannity and others at the network for their "disappointing" choice to push conspiracy theories about the murder of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich.
"It hurts those of us who are legitimately focused on journalism," one employee told CNN.
"We have a chance to turn the corner at Fox, and perpetuating this conspiracy theory damages our integrity," the employee continued.
Rich, 27, was shot to death last year on the streets of Washington, D.C., Since his slaying, right-wing news outlets have sought to link his death, without evidence, to Hillary Clinton
's campaign and the WikiLeaks release of hacked emails from Clinton's campaign.
Last week, a local Fox station in Washington aired a report claiming Rich was in contact with WikiLeaks before he died. The report, which was also shared by Russia's foreign ministry on Twitter and multiple Fox News personalities, was later discredited by Rich's family.
The employee told CNN that Hannity's aim is to "distract from any and all Trump scandals."
"I'm disgusted by it," they said.
Other employees said that coverage of the conspiracy theory affected the entire network, not just Hannity's show.
"It is disappointing because it drags the rest of us down," another employee added in the report.
"Even if tomorrow, an email was found, it is not a high enough bar of evidence to prove any interactions as emails can be altered and we've seen that those interested in pushing conspiracies will stop at nothing to do so," Rich's family said in a statement.

KimDotCom is an interesting fellow, to make a broad understatement. He’s been an internet insider almost since the beginning of public internet, and has lived large for decades in multiple countries. Kim’s life will make a good couple of movies. Maybe Bradley Cooper (American Sniper) or Sam Worthington (Avatar) could gain 30 pounds and get a crew cut for the role.
Down Side; Kim likes to talk, and garner public attention every so often. So he gives out information a few breadcrumbs at a time; a very dangerous game to play. Conclusion: Don’t be surprised if Mr. Kim now 43 years old, does not make it to the age of 53. Kim, Assange and Snowden attempt to use information as a Coin of the Realm.

Seems like a good thing to me if true. Bad that they’re telling CNN, but good they have an alternate point of view. You’d never hear a CNN/MSNBC/ABC/CBS/NBC/BS employee be disgusted, embarrassed, ashamed, disappointed by what their network does.
They only hire people who fall in lock step with the liberal conspiracy theory of the day. And who never feel embarrassed or ashamed of any talking point no matter how wrong it is proven to be since they are only allowed pro-liberal “news”. They are only disappointed or disgusted if us peons don’t accept the BS they spew.

Hannity has really touched a nerve,you know you are on the right track when they holler like this,keep up the good work SeanHannity is next on the chopping block but he's so dense he'll be surprised when it happens...And Lou Dobbs' job is not far behind.
So now we have anonymous employees at Fix allegedly blabbing to CNN to generate a story.
The MSM is broken.
Why do these numbskulls think the DNC refused to give the FBI access to their computers during the investigation into the hacking and Wikileaks dump of their eMails?
They claim someone interfered in the election but refused to allow the FBI access to help identify the supposed culprit.
And why didn't the FBI just subpoena the records?
Well - we know why.....
The Justice Department and the FBI were in league with the democrats, that's why.

True, but still you have to wonder why they are openly at odds with the man they’ve hired to find their son’s killer. This isn’t something where a “directed conclusion” makes any sense unless they are trying to unilaterally “absolve” the DNC of any role before the fact.

Someone might check up north to see if the Rich family recently purchased a lake house on the same pond as Bernie’s.
Until his murder is solved, this theory is as sound as any other.
Journalistically disproving it ought to be preferred to criticizing those who are trying to prove it.
