It is just common courtesy for Trump to bend over when receiving a medal from another head of state - by the way, the most prestigious civilian medal that Saudi Arabia has to offer.

If Trump did not bend to receive the medal, then the liberal MSM narrative would be that Trump created an uncomfortable and awkward situation for his hosts.

You just can't win with the MSM. They will criticize Trump no matter what because they wanted Hillary to win. So it's best to just tune them out. They lost. We won. And that's all there is to it.

The question I have is this: did the king of Saudi Arabia also award both GHWBush and GWBush with their highest civilian award?

If not, Trump will have bested them and at the same time diminished the significance of that supposed long time relationship Bush's have had with the Saudis since before 9/11 - particularly evident as the time when Bush's State Dept. let what were supposedly some high ranking Saudi's slip out of the US right after 9/11, when no one else had such freedom to do so.

Did Obama never get the Saudi highest civilian honor? We know he did not get the same "over-the-top" honor guard and reception that Trump just got.
