AND, certainly, No Fruit LOL During the summer one must ABSOLUTELY wear a hat here. Sometimes it may be nothing more than a ball cap which does shade the face a little. Better would be the large straw brims to protect the ears and back of your neck Those pioneer women who traveled west on the wagon trains...they may have worn nothing but homemade bonnets but those seemed to work for them. No, hats are not required of women at the Kotel. Traditional married women do cover their heads in public, including, of course, the Kotel. Females are, however, requested to cover their shoulders at the Kotel.
